French term or phrase: ARE
Tracking performance of a securities portfolio.
The title of the flowchart is "Accroissement du patrimoine de [company name] (hors fiscalité)"
The phrase in this flowchart is "Flux escomptés ARE".
It's possible this is a company name although I haven't seen any other references to it.
If not, what is it?

English translation:au (taux de) rendement exigé
Explanation:
Never heard of this abbreviation, but when you calculate discounted cash flow, you need a discount rate: in the case of a securities portfolio, this might well be the return rate expected by the investors (un taux de rendement exigé par les investisseurs).

HTH, but abbreviations are tricky things: I'd ask the client about it.
