adjustments Explanation: Advertisers can earn a volume discount by signing a written undertaking to achieve a minimum annual gross spending target calculated to include any adjustments that may apply. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2007-10-25 11:16:29 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Reply to Asker (can't find the button to click on to respond specifically to your latest question so I'm putting my reply here-- maybe somebody can point out to me how to do this, I'm new to this website...): Your question/comment: "Thanks Rufinus. I'd also thought of "adjustments" as a catch-all translation of "modulation". Do you have any examples of its use in this type of context?" Answer: Not specifically in the context of a sales or spending target, although I'm sure they exist and could be found with extensive googling. A google search of "figure includes adjustments" yields 150 hits, all of which show that it's clear that figures are adjusted in any number of contexts. There's no reason that comes to mind not to use the term "adjustment" in this one. |
