This is a perfume bottle in a wicker /rattan case; demi-john just too big to describe it. would flask or some such do, do you think...many thanks.
Explanation: Often how those bottles of Chianti are described. Interestingly, while my English def. (Webster's] of "demijohn" refers to the wicker casing, my French def. [Lexis] makes no mention of it, only the size of the vessel.
