Par affichage nous entendons ici les supports sur lesquels les publicités peuvent communiquer en aéroport à différents endroits (affiches, affiches géantes, panneaux, mur digital avec vidéo, …).
This is aimed at the general public. From my list of possibilities I am thinking of going for 'types of displays' vs. anything like more technical.
I saw that post, it's not at all the same... format here is more about the shape of the advertising message when in your case, "support" is the "thing" through which your message is going to be displayed... (by the way, display and media are not the same thing here)
