Advertising / Public Relations / description of hotel bathroom
French term or phrase: rituels du bain
This is an article in a 5-star hotel's guest magazine about one of the top suites, specifically about the bathroom (which sounds heavenly!).

Véritable pièce à vivre, la salle de bain offre la plénitude d’une trop rare sensation de bien- être. Du système de chromothérapie jouant avec les sept couleurs de l’arc-en-ciel, au hammam et au jacuzzi, tout y contribue. Les produits de soin Hermès et des **rituels du bain** apportent la touche ultime de perfection pour le meilleur du corps et de l’esprit.

OK, bathing rituals but it definitely sounds a bit odd in the context. Any alternative suggestions - or ideas about what they might be getting at here?

I think 'experience' hits the right note here and my first thought was 'the whole bathing experience', as Phil then suggested. Thanks, everyone!

agree  philgoddard: I think bath and bathroom are a bit too prosaic, but bathing works well. Perhaps you could say "the whole bathing experience".

Bathroom rituals / routines

Explanation:
I have come across this expression a lot recently in terms of bathroom products and I don't think it sounds odd in the context due to the common usage of this term. Even for those who haven't heard the expression, I think it comes across just as well in English as it does in French and as somebody who loves my luxury bathroom routines/rituals, it would sell to me.

As can be seen in example sentences, 'bathing' is still commonly used in this context.

Example sentence(s):
  • "Bathing rituals... we spoil your body with natural herbal Alpine Products..."
  • "Turn your usual bathing routine into an unforgettable home spa experience with these simple steps:..."

neutral  philgoddard: Bathroom rituals and routines makes me think of things like flossing your teeth.

  -> I appreciate that, but if you read glossy women's magazines bathroom rituals and routines have quite a different connotation - a lot more luxurious, exotic and feminine. Just making an interesting point, not knocking your right to remain neutral.
