interactive community

Explanation:
S.M.- I sent this back to the originator of the job, noting that from various contexts (cf. earlier occurrences) it would seem to be the text authors' shorthand for "communauté interactive". Spent nearly an hour on Google to no avail. If anyone else has seen com' used by the advert community or on-line under 21's, please let us know...(I am no longer "in", obviously... ;-)

communication

Explanation:
as in 'communication interactive' = interactive advertising, which is the context of your text, isn't it?

It it would make sense here, interactive advertising, the webusers themselves are the ones who make the message come across.

I often hear people say things along the lines of "oh, lui, il travaille dans la com", meaning he's an ad man, works in communications, etc.

communication

Explanation:
It's definitely "communication". "Com" is one of those abbreviations that the French love to use ("ciné" and "restau" being perhaps the most familiar examples). "Com" is regularly used in the media and other fields here in France. For instance, you hear about the "com" of an advertising campaign, the "directeur de com" (or even "dircom" in extreme cases. Here, it's clearly a form of interactive communication that is launched by the web user.
