The CIRP dict. referred to elsewhere also has:
72 106 lamage plan, lamage sur bossage - spot facing, end facing, facing - Production of a plane surface, perpendicular to the axis of a drilled hole, on a flange or boss.
To my mind the depth of 0.5mm (if it is mm) does not constitute countersinking. |
