There is such a thing as a joint omega, an "omega seal" or "omega gasket" which is used in tunnel linings, amongst other things undoubtedly. That is indeed an omega shape in cross-section, as the delta gasket seems to be the triangular delta (Greek letter) shape.

"Delta seal" exists too, but most commonly in reference to US special forces.
