Si une technique standard sur lame 1 ml est utilisée pour la quantification d’E. coli sur les échantillons prélevés à l’éponge sur des carcasses de bovines ou de porcins, le comptage moyen sur lame (si 2 lames sont utilisées) ou le comptage unique (si 1 lame est utilisée) devrait être divisé par 12 pour obtenir le nombre de cfu/cm2. Pour les échantillons de bovines, l’extrait non dilué (10º) et la dilution 1:10 doivent être **montées sur lame**, de preference en double.
