This is part of the salmonella testing process.

I know that it follows the same line of thinking as a previous question (http://www.proz.com/kudoz/1054433).

DMILA is "double modified lysine iron agar"

Grand Dictionnaire defines "ensemencement" as:
"technique employée en bactériologie. Elle consiste à déposer selon certaines modalités, des particules de matériel suspect de contenir des bactéries pathogènes à la surface ou dans la profondeur d'un milieu de culture approprié"

But GD doesn't give an English equivalent.

Would something like "Sample bacteria cultured on DMLIA medium" work? This is just a wild guess...
