from the field to the fork
Explanation:
http://www.agrifoodstandards.net/en/news/global/m_s_revises_...

Marks and Spencer launched the new version of its Field to Fork assurance scheme this week, widening its scope beyond the boundaries first set when it was unveiled five years ago. It comes into force on June 1.

However the long term concept, specifically designed to cover fruit and vegetables, remains the same. It focuses on reducing the level of pesticides used by its suppliers, encouraging them to support production which benefits the environment, and generally enhancing the brand through rigorous food safety.

(Stable to table, I like it.) "Field" I think projects an image of small-scale, kind agriculture. Thanks to all for your imaginative contributions!

As they sow, we eat

Explanation:
I couldn't resist having a go, although there are already some inspired suggestions!

An attempted play on words on "sow and reap". It could also be "as we sow, you eat" depending on whose perspective it's seen from.

Land on hand... meal's ready !

Explanation:
Another look...

"Land on hand" gives the "fourche à la fourchette" alliteration...

Too, there's the idea of proximity, one just have to hold out one's hand to get it...

And "meals's ready" gives you the missing food in the first phrase, with this familiar expression, you know, the idea one doesn't have to do anything, you come and seat, and just have to eat...
