French to English translations [PRO] Science - Agriculture / fruit production | | French term or phrase: logé départ | (Take 2 - try writing the term in the correct box...)
Following a short paragraph about the status of the market and supply/demand for Italian peaches, there is the sentence about calibre prices:
Pêches italiennes, logé départ: Cal A: 0,95-1,10 €/kg, Cal B: 1,00-1,10 €/kg
I think its a quantity in which the fruit is sold, as other examples of this sentence structure contain "prix marche de gros" "prix le kg" |

| | tray-packed by producer | Explanation: "Départ" presumably means "at the orchard", and I take "logé" to mean "logé en alvéole", in those moulded plastic or soft recycled paper "egg carton" containers (often blue) placed inside a wooden crate or cardboard box, rather than loose to roll around.

Funnily enough, those fibre trays designed to prevent soft fruit becoming pulped are called "pulp trays" (because made from paper pulp). Fruit packed loose is "jumble packed", it seems.
