French to English translations [Non-PRO]

Nous allons dans la mesure du possible, faire une enquête d’évaluation au niveau locale, avec comme interlocuteurs *les bénéficiaires des activités*. Après une analyse de ces informations collectées et une bonne interprétation, nous nous rendrons compte de l’orientation de nos interventions dans la zone.
Would it be OK to say "recipients"? Or "project benefactors"? I'm just not sure if that is the right term here...

Explanation:
I don't think you can receive an activity, so recipients sounds odd.
Try to make it sound natural.
I think you have mistaken the meaning of "benefactor" - it's the one who does good (from Latin benefacere, to do a service), not the one who benefits.
