French to English translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Archaeology / Testing Artefact for Age | | French term or phrase: l'extrémité distale / l'extrémité proximale | "- La facette polie XX a été effectuée par polissage préférentiel du bord de la plaque, en face arrière, à ***l'extrémité distale*** des YYYYYYYY;
- Le prélèvement de métal (AA) a été effectué par forage sur ***l'extrémité proximale*** de BBBBBBBB."
I believe these are medical terms being used here out of context, to indicate two ends of a certain animal part in a representation of an animal's body. I have posted two questions as one, as I believe their meaning is interlinked and similar.
