  -> Perhaps "singularity" would be closer to the original meaning, if the connotation of "particularité" is along the lines of "unusual"--please tell me what you are getting at; it would be instructive for me to understand for future reference. Thank you!

That sounds like quite a rush, starting off on a ski jump and landing in the high-voltage network of the power plant.
