French term or phrase: carton mousse
I have a rather disjointed text to translate on bead jewellery. Its one of those kits you buy where you get a few beads, some thread and some instructions and you can make your own rings, necklaces etc... I have very few pictures to guide me, and I am lost on a couple of phrases. I wonder whether anyone could assist!

Carton Mousse

In the following instructions for making a clown bead picture:

Reproduire le dessin au centre du tissu en suivant la technique donnée. Broder le motif: commencer par le clown, les balles...Une fois le travail de broderie terminé, apliquer le tissue sur le carton mousse en intercalant une épaisseur de molleton et rabattre la marge au dos. La fixer au carton á l´aide du ruban double face, puis encadrer."

Beautiful, but can anyone help with the carton mousse!

Thanks!

It can be foamboard or foam board, but I think foamboard is more common. It goes into the same general category as posterboard.
