French term or phrase: papier à la cuve
print making
eliane gervasoni
handmade paper
Explanation:
The most common definition of papier à la cuve is the marbled paper that is used in bookbinding as end sheets - they are placed in a "cuve" with ink.

Otherwise, most techniques for handmaking paper use a recipient where the material is in water or a water-based liquid. Moulded paper is, I believe, more specific.
