French term or phrase:pochoir
I am aware that 'pochoir' usually means 'stencil' or 'patten', depending on the context, but was wondering what it meant in my text, an insurance document, where it is referring to a kind of damage which would be excluded...

... I get it, those words you see spray-painted through stencils (always very neat and thoughtful of the graffiti artists, methinks!) and of course, now I get 'tags' too - precisely that.... see the same ones all over certain parts of London! Thanks for enlightenment....
