exciting (new) talents

Explanation:
coup de coeur is usually for something new and not well known. You are smitten by a new artist

Notes to answerer
Asker: thanks Mimi, I'll use "a pick of my favourite talents" instead of personal

Peer comments on this answer (and responses from the answerer)
agree  David Vaughn: This is close to the idea of the phrase. There is no real claim that the artists/pieces selected are of quality nor that any criteria was used for selection. Even "favorite" is strong, because the selector may "flash" on one element of a weak piece.

Explanation:
As this is quite a personalised thing with the use of "je", I reckon you have lots of options.

'Coup de coeur' is? I agree with the previous two suggestions a favourite, something someone just loves, has fallen in love with etc. Yes, exciting new artists could work as in this case, this is what the person "je" no doubt means. Personal favouriate is a good solution too in my view.

must-see artists

Explanation:
To address it more to the public rather than to express personal choice. "Exciting new talents" (polyglot45) also comes close to this idea.
