French term or phrase: Là-bas, les gens sont un magnifique feu d'artifice
Press release to announce the destination of an international adventure raid. I can't say where to, of course! Part and parcel of the spirit behind these raids is the adventure as an emotional experience, the contact with indigenous populations. Here, the text is describing the light and energy of the natives. It's got to sound sincere, it's got to be a strong image but it mustn't be "arty-farty"!

Help!

English translation:the people are dazzling
Explanation:
I think "dazzling" gets across not only the idea of "light" and energy, but also that the people are fascinating. What's an adventure raid? Is this a surprise trip to an unknown destination?

Thank you Karen. This was suddenly became horrendously urgent, so I used the "light and the force of the land" as it rings a bit mystical. Thank you for your help. Dazzling was one of the terms I was playing around with. FYI an adventure raid is a multi-sports outdoor challenge which takes place over rough terrain. Activities typically found on these raids are mountain-biking, canyoning, canoeing, bareback horse-riding, that sort of things. Usually done in teams which are often sponsored by major organisations. Some teams are almost fully professional "raiders", others are "amateurs" although it is a term difficult to apply when you see the training programmes they set themselves!
