If it's some kind of automatic guidance system, maybe it's a system that videos the road and interprets what it sees, with one channel (#32) or all 32 channels detecting "lanes" (voies) as the black bits between white lines.

unless we're talking about channels on a CB radio, but could the second voie in fact be voix? So unless it's a black casing, maybe it's a Black voice. Dinah Washington, anyone?
