I'm wondering if "core" is being used in the sense of "core product" below:

Sur le rapport de factures et des bons de réparation payées, on y retrouve tous les *cores* vendus et échangés. À notre avis le montant des *cores* devrait être également soustrait du rapport parce que ce n’est pas des pièces installées. |

| | English translation:battery core | Explanation: I believe the are referring to the inner part of the car battery, called the core. Basically, the part that contains the heart of the battery that either can or cannot be recycled, remounted, etc. The "*cores* vendus et échangés" may simply refer to batteries sold or exchanged or may specifically refer to used/dead batteries that are sold and/or exchanged with other dealers for the purpose of rebuilding/reusing/recycling them. A bit vague, but I would stick with just "core" in the English version - I'd assume they know what it means! |
