Explanation:
Well, 'faisceau' often means 'cable OR wiring loom' --- the bundle of pre-prepared cables that are installed in a car (or aircraft etc.) ready for connecting to the various bits of electrical equipment.

So I can only assume this means something like "DESIGN OFFICE rules for 2D cable loom drawings" --- the cable looms are often created as 2-dimensional things (sometimes even laid-up and prepared on a flat board jig), even though ultimately they will of course be bent and folded to suit installation in a 3-dimensional car...

I'm assuming ÉTUDES is probaby short for Bureau d'Études = Design Office (etc.)

Just to make things absolutely clear: David is spot-on with his comment, the more usual term in an automotive context would be \'wiring harness\'

agree  David Goward: except to add that "faisceau" is often (usually?) translated as "(wiring) harness" in the automotive field. The rest of your assumptions seem spot-on to me.
