French to English translations [PRO]
Science - Botany / agricultural development
French term or phrase: barbe du mil
In the context of preventing the red-billed quelea from eating millet crops in North Africa.
The NGO trying to ensure food security in the region has been distributing "improved" seeds of this crop to the locals for this purpose.
I'm wondering if it could be a type of barb that naturally occurs on some mutation(s) of millet? How about a typo??
Thanks in advance for your help!
