Botany / Perfume website
French term or phrase: Muguet de Chine
Hello all,
This comes from a perfume website. I realise that muguet = lily of the valley, but I'm not sure whether muguet de Chine is the same thing. Many thanks in advance for any help!

Reineckea carnea
Explanation:
According to this website, it is a Reineckea carnea: http://jardinsbotaniquesjaponais.blogspot.com/2008/10/le-mug...
It doesn't not appear to have a common English name: http://flowers3.la.coocan.jp/Ruscaceae/Reineckea carnea.htm
It is a bit of a clumsy name for a perfume description though....

"Pink Reineckea "seems to come up quite a lot as a herb extract used in Chinese herbal oils etc.

neutral  Tony M: Not 'China Lily', that would appear to be the proprietary name of the perfume rather than the flower.
