This is used in a recipe for a vinaigrette along with walnut vinegar, honey, water, olive oil, salt and pepper.
I've been unable to clearly determine what this is. Can anybody help?

bloody sorrel


Explanation:
No, I'm not swearing at how fast my sorrel is taking over the garden.

"( Rumex sanguineus) Bloody Sorrel
A very ornamental sorrel having dark red veins which look like blood. A hardy perennial growing to 15 inches and having a spread of 15 inches. Leaves can be eaten raw and used in salads. Makes a nice container plant. "
