advance notice Explanation: "Because the working periods are not defined in the contract, the employer shall observe an advance-notice period of 3 business days..."; or "....shall provide 3 business days' advance notice"; or "shall provide notice 3 business days in advance." The French noun "prévenance" literally means "thoughtfulness, consideration, or kindness." In your document, however, "prévenance" appears to have been coined or inferred from the verb "prévenir," which means "to inform, tell, warn, or notify."
