Corporate financing mechanism in France ("Adossement") or (...) called "Adossement" Explanation: This is a concept that seems to exist only in France. Here are a few quotes that help understand what it is: "L'adossement L'adossement consiste à juxtaposer à l'opération principale une autre opération de capitalisation qu'il sera possible de dénouer plus facilement et à moindre coût pour permettre le remboursement de l'emprunt souscrit dans l'opération principale. L'exemple habituel consiste à utiliser les capitaux disponibles non pas pour financer le bien objet de l'investissement mais pour souscrire un produit de capitalisation (assurance-vie par exemple) qui sera donné en garantie de l'emprunt.
