this is from a logistics document, and we are talking about who has to deal with differentiation. If it is the factory, they must be told in advance so that the 'outils de transmission de commande à nomenclature' can be validated. For nomenclature I have found parts list, catalogue, bill of materials... so is this an order from a catalogue or a parts list?

I am not quite sure .But in a similar context ,in a Procedural Description or Instructions to those who will prepare order to deliver , first they have a picking order(that is a instruction not exactly order from client) that is a list of items (itemization) , first an order from client recieved then it is transfered to an order as "directive" ,to be collected from warehouse. Certainly this order in a list form. They have at hand a PICKING LIST.
