occupational scheme
Explanation:
Scheme which applies by virtue of one's job.

I did my web research before looking on the EuroDicautom (http://eurodic.ip.lu:8086//cgi-bin/edicbin/expert.pl) which gives « occupational scheme » for « régime professionnel ».. Might have saved me a bit of time if I had looked first !

Generally the word "régime", (cf. "régime fiscal", "régime matrimonial" etc.,) is used to describe a system, or set of rules which apply in a particular set of circumstances. It implies the state. The GDT provides answers for « régime fiscal » and « régime matrimonial » which confirm this meaning. (If you check it out, don’t be put off by the word « settlement » in relation to marriage, concentrate on the meanings !).

On a pay slip, it is referring to the body of rules which apply to the employee in question by virtue of his function and the retirement, health or other social security contributions he has to make. This comes back to the second answer, professional category, a type of classification of a group of working people in order to decide which set of rules applies. (NB : This is not the same thing as “statut professionnel” which is used to describe a business structure, such as SARL, EURL or whatever).

Some examples from the web :

Professional settlement/payment or Professional Courtesy

Explanation:
I looked up régime, trying to find it in context with a payment, my instincts telling me that it referred to a payment or dividend, and what I found was 'regime matrimonial' or 'marriage settlement', confirming my hunch.
My surmisal is that it pertains to 'professional courtesy' monies such as honorariums. Not knowing the full context limits my translation, but I am confident that 'régime' just simply means 'payment'
