French to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / Financial incentives
French term or phrase: apports en société
The context is a document describing various business incentives and the specific paragraph/sentence is as follows:

"Ces aides portent sur :

La possibilité de pratiquer des amortissements accélérés,
L’exonération du droit d’enregistrement sur les apports en société.
"

What exactly does "apports en société" mean in this context? I've found "contributions in kind" but I'm not convinced this is the right term for this context...
Would anyone happen to know what the UK equivalent is?
Many thanks in advance for your help!

Explanation:
Hello,

Money invested in a company to purchase fixed assets.

I would be cautious about using the word "assets". Capital invested to buy fixed assets only.

By the way, "capital" has more than one meaning in the financial word.

I hope this helps.
