Clarification request(s) and response
Conor McAuley: 8:26am Dec 14, 2006: Ordinary - I think, on reflection, that "ordinary" does not sit well with AGM - an AGM is an AGM, once a year, it is perhaps by definition not ordinary? Then, again, "ordinary" here simply refers to the fact that a meeting is scheduled and has not been called for an urgent reason.

Ordinary AGM
Explanation:
According to the site below, it stands for Assemblée Générale Ordinaire Annuelle.

Not 100% sure of the exact English equivalent, though.

agree Catherine Johnstone: ordinary annual shareholders assembly

-> Thanks! I prefer "meeting" to "assembly" but we'll leave it to Conor to decide.

agree Tony M: That's what I'd have thought too, though at first sight it seems to fit oddly in the sentence given; but then again, maybe not — such an AGM would be a special case, justifiying the requirement for a vote to be unanimous

-> Thanks, Tony! Not really my field, but that's how I understand it.

Explanation:
I think that, to be precise, you need to include the word "shareholders".
