French term or phrase: Prix client HT maximum conseillé
The term refers to vehicles that are subject to a buy-back scheme with the manufacturer - I can't seem to find a suitable translation for this. Any help much appreciated!

maximum recommended retail price (excl. VAT / sales tax)
Explanation:
You don't really give us enough context to be sure, but this is something to be starting off with.

Of course, your 'client' may not actually be a 'retail' client at all, so you might have to use 'end-user', or rephrase to 'max. recommended price to customer (excl. VAT)' etc.

In fact, the fact that the price being quoted is ex. VAT rather suggests it wouldn't be a retail customer anyway...

You can use 'VAT' for Europe, or you might need to use soemthing like 'sales tax' or whatever is the equivalent in the part of the world where your readers will be.

Or is it referring to the price they will allow the client in part-exchange?

Thanks for all your suggestions - it was indeed not a retail transaction but one between a car manufacturer and a leasing company, so the "end-user" option worked well. Thanks again!
