French term or phrase: investir
Hi all,

This is a very general document about a company signing up to work on a project and learning the work environment, yada yada yada. :-)

L’apprentissage de l’environnement dans lequel l’équipe est appelée à **investir** doit se faire, idéalement, sur place, et au tout début du projet.

I get the meaning perfectly but wonder if there is a better word that could be used here than "invest." Thanks!

English translation:will be working
Explanation:
I would have thought "s'investir" would have been better, but that's apparently not what the French says. Neither "contribute" nor "participate" seem to work here. A neutral verb is best. because of the term 'environment'.
