French term or phrase: administrateur journalier
Again, this expression seems to be exclusively Belgian French. These are company statutes setting out restrictions on directorships. "Pendant une periode de six ans precedant leur nomination, ne pas avoir exerce un mandat ou une fonction d'administrateur, de gerant, de membre du Comite de direction, ***d'administrateur journalier*** ou de cadre ni dans la Societe..."
They seem to contrast it with "administrateur...de cadre" (?) so does it mean "interim manager"? ...or?

to be involved in day-to-day or every day administration or management
Explanation:
Sometimes it is not possible to translate in the very same format; it has to be translated in a different sentence form for the phrase to convey the same context or meaning. This turn of phrase seems to me to belong to this category.

I worked in a large multinational in the UK for many years and never came across this one but think "day-to-day manager" makes most sense. Much as I'd like to award points to both answers, aparnea replied first, and thanks to all as always.

agree  cmwilliams: that's the idea. I have seen 'day-to-day manager' used in this context.

agree  Sheila Wilson: day-to-day administrator is possible, but as you say it's best to rephrase it
