French to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general)
French term or phrase: BFRE
My context is a business plan for a French company making musical instruments.

Besoin financement.
Notre besoin en financement est lié à plusieurs facteurs:
•Financement de nos premières productions
•Sécurisation de notre BFRE
•Financement de notre plan marketing ambitieux, calibré pour devenir un des acteurs clés du marché.

Anyone able to tell me what BFRE might be in this context? Apologies if this is something fairly obvious...

neutral  rkillings: close, but it's "working capital *requirement*", which is not the same as working capital (fonds de roulement). It's an ex-ante/ex-post distinction.

Maybe I misunderstood : do you need a translation or just the French meaning ?

operating working capital requirements

Explanation:
Comme il existe une différence entre 'Working capital' et 'Operating working capital', il vaut mieux peut-être mentionner 'operating' puisque le terme français mentionne '...d'exploitation ' :

Compared to Working capital, Operating working capital narrows the scope of Current assets and Current liabilities by strictly taking into account operating current assets (Accounts receivable and inventory) and current liabilities (Accounts payable).
The basic concept of working capital is relatively simple : it is the excess of current assets over the current liabilities. The importance attached to working capital as a measure of liquidity and solvency has caused some companies, desiring to present their current condition in the most favorable light, to stretch the definition of what constitutes a current asset and a current liability. For this reason some analysts will use the operating working capital as a substitute to the Working Capital. www.eurofinancials.com/glossary/operatingworkingcapital.htm...

Working capital can be divided between operating working capital and nonoperating working capital.
