Bus/Financial - Business/Commerce (general) / a service provisions contract
French term or phrase: la réserve de la propriété
Hello again,

I am stumped by the part: réserve de la propriété, in the following clause:

"L'ensemble de nos ventes, dans le cadre du présent contrat, se fera sous le régime de la réserve de la propriété, Celle que miss en place par la loi du 12 MAI 1980. "
This is what I've come up with thus far:
"As part of this contract, the whole of our sales will be carried out under the regime of title retention [or property retention?!], such as set up by the law of MAY 12TH, 1980."

Is 'réserve de la propriété' and réserve de propriété' one and the same?

Thanks for all your help.

agree  Gilla Evans: Indeed. Reservation of title: A sale of goods in which the seller retains title to the goods sold, or any products made from them, or the resulting sale proceeds, until the buyer pays for the goods. Chuck out that mistyped u though :-)
