- Explanation: In many of the sentences you can probably leave out "démarche" alltogther... as in: la démarche de remplir un questionnaire est longue -> filling in a questionnaire is long An alternative to "process" when you can't leave out the rather redundant (in English) "démarch" could be: the act of It all depends on the entire sentence/paragraphe in question each time, though. |

How to complete (or answer) the questionnaire Explanation: This is the standard phraseology used in the US. Words like "steps" or "process" are not wrong, of course, but they sound a bit fussy, just because people are not used to hearing them in this kind of context. The verbs “to answer,” “to fill in,” “to fill out,” and “to complete” are pretty much interchangeable. I prefer “complete,” but that is neither here nor there. Fuad common usage |
