Explanation:
Hazarding a guess here, I would have thought that it relates to a credit rating agency, rating a business on a financial level and that the person managed/was responsible for overseeing changes to ratings. As ratings are given independently of a company, maybe the "management" was overseeing the communications relating to the changes as the person's job role was financial comms.
