Working holiday visa

Explanation:
This is a visa class available to youth, generally under 27, 30 or 35, offered mostly on a reciprocal basis between advanced countries (e.g., in the range of some thousands per year in each direction, generally greater than the demand for them). It is typically available for 1 or 2 years, and the individual is not supposed to take just one full time job for the entire period (e.g., a full time job for 50% of the time or a part time job, while otherwise visiting or holidaying in the country).

neutral  ph-b: Not really the answer to the question as asked - even though the visa is obviously linked to the PVT.

I also agree with nj's explanation as a translation, except that I'd perhaps rather call it "Working Holiday Program" (as opposed to "Visa") to more closely reflect the French version. I believe some countries call it a "Working Holiday Scheme".....of course, they all relate to visas for the same purpose....

agree  ph-b: Certainly answers the question as asked. And yes, mentioning the visa shouldn't be part of the answer to the question.
