Not sure about the second half of this sentence - any help very much appreciated. |

| | Actions for rescission | Explanation:
Eurodicautom weblink: 'TERM action en résolution Reference Le Docte,Dict.jur.,Oyez,Brussels 1978
(2) TERM action résolutoire Reference Le Docte,Dict.jur.,Oyez,Brussels 1978
(1) TERM *action for rescission of a contract* Reference Le Docte,Legal Dict.,Oyez,Brussels 1978'.
'of a contract' is probably redundant.
- though doesn't explain who can rescind: the parties or the court.
FHS Bridge Council of Europe glossary gives the puzzling rendering: 'action to terminate a continuing contract (ex nunc = from now on)'.

\'The transferor co. does hereby unconditionally waive all liens and actions for rescission that may inure to its benefit over the assets brought in/vested/ as (collateral) security for the covenants and conds. imposed on the transferee co.\'
Unnecessarily convoluted. Might mean the transferor won\'t pull the rug from under the transferee who has been imposed conds. (by a creditor, bank or govt. fin. services authority?) |

16 mins confidence: | actions résolutoires resolutory actions
Explanation: Check out the link below for a concise description about the distinction between resolution and recission. Essentially, the first party agrees not to profit from the assets supplied as a guarantee by claiming the contract to be null and void from the get-go.
