président = Chairman; DG = managing director; codirecteur général délégué" - deputy managing director
This site (and others) offers CEO for administrateur délégué but I thought CEO and Managing Director were about the same thing? In any case, it seems odd to have them side by side for the same company. HELP!!

I take it your text is Swiss (most likely, given the names) or Belgian, for it is they who use the term "administrateur délégué".

I've researched this in the past, and found the following on the Web: <<De même, notre administrateur délégué est président-directeur général en France, Chief Executive Officer aux Etats-Unis et Chairman en Grande-Bretagne…>> This is from my notes, and although Google identifies it, the site (Belgian) is inaccessible.

As I understand it:
président = chairman

administrateur délégué = CEO [US and, these days, UK] or MD [UK](as "administrateur" = "director" implies, he is member of the board of directors = conseil d'administration)

directeur général = general manager [UK](as "directeur" = "manager" implies, he is NOT NECESSARILY a member of the board (administrateur). However, if he is, he might be called the COO, Chief OPERATING Officer [US], responsible for the day-to-day running of the company.

codirecteur général délégué - deputy general manager [UK] or deputy COO [US].

I know you said "British English", but "CEO" is commonplace in the UK these days, though it was not some years ago; I suspect COO is gaining ground ...
