French term or phrase: Application aux Sciences
"inscription au Diplôme d'Études Universitaires Générales SCIENCES ET TECHNOLOGIES, mention MATHÉMATIQUES, INORMATIQUE ET APPLICATIONS AUX SCIENCES"

I am translating this diploma and am not quite sure what is meant by "Application aux Sciences" in this case.

Scientific Applications
Explanation:
I more or less agree with the senses implied in the above answers (although "applied x" often means applications outside of science/research fields and this is clearly the opposite, for example the use of mathematics and computer programming for experimental modelling), but I think this is a more natural expression.

Applications aux Sciences Applications in Science

Explanation:
Hello,

I could be wrong, but I think this may be it.

Literally, "applications to the sciences"

You could say that, but I don't think that it is normally said like this in the context above.

I hope this helps.
