Does anybody know what this acronym stands for in the context of an interuniversity degree in mesotherapy certificate?

The term appears at the bottom right-hand side of the certificate as follows:

Thanks in advance ;)

neutral  Nikki Scott-Despaigne: I agree with your answer in the header but would consider it more as a faculty, as they used to be called indeed before this new term came in.

U.F.R. de Médecine
Unite de Formation et de Recherche de Médecine (Faculty of Medicine)

Explanation:
All universities in France are now comprised of UFRs, unités de formation et de recherche. The French original should be kept in the English version. However, it corresponds perfectly well to the term "faculty of medicine".

Thereafter, in the UK, each faculty (art, science, humanities) etc has departments, although some are faculties apart. Law is sometimes are faculty apart, like medicine, sometimes it is a department in the humanities faculty. There are variations, but as a rule UFR corresponds more closely to "faculty" than "department".
