| | to join the 5th regiment (enlist with) | Explanation: "au titre de" can't really be literally translated in English. However, we would normally say "to join" a regiment, which would imply taking up activities within that regiment.
Alternatively we could say "to enlist" with the ... regiment. But this may be moving away from the translation a bit. |
