Cycle de Formation = training course

So "diploma" in the English sense wouldn't really be appropriate, in my opinion. Generally, certificates are offered in these cases.

neutral  gallagy2: if it says "Diploma" in title, that's what it is. Your ref material is incorrect imho. You can get all sorts of diplomas.//sorry, but I believe you are incorrect. Look at definition of "diploma". //yes, quite a few discussions about this already:-)

  -> Diplomas are given for grades, certificates are giving for trainings. In French "diplome" is used for both, but in English a specification is made. You have every right to believe I am incorrect. Thanks for the imput.
