Melanie Nassar (asker): 4:08pm Nov 10, 2004: to Erik - It is a typewritten document from 1993, and it is also likely that the person giving the address, a Jordanian, did not speak French or German.

If it could be an "a" and not an "e" or "o": Charry is a common name and there is a Marquis de Charry, so that seems most likely. However, if something is illegible, it's illegible and right answer might simply be to write [illegible] and hope the client can get you a better copy. |
