This is a pilot test for a new process for industrial production of a certian drug. Below a table "Bilan matière" listing the percentage of the various components of the final product appears this sentence: "Le bilan matière boucle à 93% (pertes d'HBr lors des chauffages?)"

Explanation:
I always think that 'boucler' in the sense of ending something is like the english 'tying up' I'm not sure that ties up is exactly it in this context, and it's not a very precise expression to use considering the 'bilan' in question. how about "rounds off at"
