All of these options are good, but I ended up using "directed by" because it seemed to fit best in this context. Actually I like "orchestrated by" best, but didn't see the suggestion until too late. Thanks for all your ideas. Karen

Explanation:
I think this is the sense, like a conductor who conducts the orchestra with a stick (baguette). At the same time it's a play on words as baguette is associated with food (chopsticks and the bread)
