La Caisse des CONGES SPECTACLES est une association d'employeurs agréée par l'Etat et régie par la loi du 1er juillet 1901.
Elle a été créée dès 1939 pour permettre, conformément aux articles D.762-2 et suivants du Code du travail, **la prise effective du congé payé aux artistes et techniciens du spectacle qui n'ont pas été occupés de manière continue chez un même employeur ** pendant les douze mois précédant leur demande de congé et ce, quelle que soit la nationalité du salarié ou la nature du contrat de travail.

Est tenue d'adhérer à la Caisse toute structure visée à l'article D.762-1 du Code du travail et notamment tous les entrepreneurs de spectacles, les sociétés de production cinématographique, de production et de communication audiovisuelles, qu'ils exercent leur activité à titre principal, accessoire ou occasionnel et quelle que soit leur forme juridique.

It's essentially a form of annual leave allowance, banking up annual leave days, from jobs without being in a permanent job.

Temps in the UK have similar rights, whereby temping agencies providing the work owe them annual leave pay.

perhaps 'performing artist's paid annual leave' would do as an actual answer! as it is specifically performing artists and not in the broader sense (graphic artists etc...)
